Covenant Community School hosted their annual student government election on October 8th, 2019. There were several amazing candidates ranging from new student body to veterans. The race was the closest in the history of CCS, each candidate winning by a handful of votes. The polls closed at 11am and the final count was in. The student body and faculty had spoken. Jared Fraze, a veteran CCS student won the presidential office. His platform was simple and direct. The need for CCS to be more community orientated was vital for the growth and longevity of the school. Raegan Sterling, a new CCS student, won vice president. Her warm smile, and ability to make others feel welcomed, makes her a great addition to the team. Chandler Milton, who was in office last year, carried on her position as secretary. The office of treasurer was won by a candidate whose decision to run was a surprise to all. Payton Bay, who serves on several leadership teams at CCS, took the office of treasurer. Her dedication to upholding the CCS atmosphere of excellence is a blessing to have as one of our SGA officers.
